Tyler is one of the BEST Mortgage brokers that I've ever worked with to secure a loan. I have purchased and refinanced several properties so I have interacted with more than my fair share of mortgage brokers and Tyler's knowledge of the lending environment, passion to provide excellent service and commitment to closing deals in a timely manner is UNMATCHED! Tyler simply put, "Gets it!" He understands that buying a home is usually an inherently stressful situation for most people. Therefore, he does everything in his power to makes securing your mortgage as painless as possible. In my experience agents sometimes try to push you to use "their loan person." However, Tyler will always be my first call. I will end this review with a few adjectives that come to mind based on my experience with Tyler: Transparent (i.e. He understands buyers don't like surprises. He under promises and over delivers.) Knowledgeable: Tyler actually became my second set of eyes during my transaction. While he works with you and your agent, Tyler understands that "YOU" are his client. Therefore, you can run your agent's assessment by Tyler and he can help you validate or disregard it based on DATA (i.e. Property Values, Best Financing Options Based on Your Goals). I'd do another deal with Tyler just to learn more from him. I feel like a got a final education regarding my purchase journey. Accountable: Tyler does what he says. Tyler is the type of guy I NOT ONLY recommend my friends use, I make them call him and at least discuss their situation. I know... Your uncle, cousin, old classmate... They all do mortgages. The real question you need to ask is, "Are they an expert? Are they the best at what they do?" In terms of Tyler, I can emphatically say the answer is yes!!!!! I was in the loan process with a broker when I happened to go in to my local Chase branch for some business. It came up that I was buying a home and was told, “At least talk to Tyler Huntington to see what he can do for you in terms of rates and fees.” I did and he BLEW the fees out of the water! I took a leap of faith that we could get the closing done on time (mind you, my agent was against it AND the other half of the loan recipient lived out of state so Tyler had to work with two parties to get it done.). With teamwork and great communication, not only was the loan funded but it was FUNDED early! Tyler was professional but personable and hilarious at times. He got it done! Tyler went above and beyond for us, and you cannot go wrong with him. My husband and I were first-time homebuyers, purchasing our home from the east coast, both mid career change.
